Final Fantasy – Popularity

The entertainment market is becoming vast day by day. Innumerable teenagers and adults are starting to play online games every day. Thus the need for online gaming is also increasing. The online gaming is becoming huge and global very fast. Mr. Yoichi Wada, the president and representative director of Square Enix Holdings Co. Ltd. has announced that they are speeding up their launch and taking their business up to a world class level for these reasons. They have collaborated with the Shanda Games to materialize their endeavor. Shanda Games has a great track record in online gaming in China previously. They are together working on the release of the game Final Fantasy 14 in the China market. Mr. Alan Tan, Chairman and CEO of the Shanda Games told people that they have done extensive market study and they have a wide spread market facilities for this game. He has also stated that he has full confidence on this new version of the game. The China market will have a different server other than japan, north America and Europe. The launch date has not been announced in china yet.

Final Fantasy 14 is a bestselling game. It has multi player facility and is fully video based. The final fantasy series started in 1987 and has sold over 97 million units all over the world. It is largely popular among the gaming communities all over the world and it uses brilliant graphics.

The latest version of the game has all the facilities a player wants. They have more battles, action and magic. The final fantasy 14 allows the players to change their discipline by changing their weapons only. This also helps to change in the level in the game and the class also. A player could stay in the game for a longer time period and can use different weapons. This makes the game more exciting and mind numbing. Also, this gives the player a higher level of excitement.

There are four types of disciplines in the game. They are: the disciples of war, disciples of magic, disciples of land and disciples of hand. As mentioned earlier, any player can change their discipline by simply changing their weapons. The disciplines have been segregated into different types on the basis of armory. The disciplines of war and the disciplines of magic are simple to understand. The other two disciples are more complicated. They have surprising features and players might need a little while to get used to with it. In this game a botanist can use an axe to kill the enemy. The switching of disciplines makes the character more complex. This can be shown by the following example. Under the disciples of hand, the characters can make magic potion using subcategory of alchemy. To use this feature the player has to change to the disciples of magic. This inter relation is spread throughout the game. This makes the game more complicated and far more interesting.

Final Fantasy Mini Games

Who remembers snowboarding in Final Fantasy 7? How about the chocobo races? The arm wrestling and basketball shooting in the arcade? I remember playing all these mini games back when I was a kid. In the recent games there haven’t been many fun mini games or side quests like one experienced in Final Fantasy 7. There have been some other mini games and side quests in the newer games but they just don’t seem as fun or memorable.

In FF7 you are actually forces to play these fun games and snowboarding down a mountain and racing a chocobo are included in the storyline. Later one you are able to play these over again and also race the chocobo’s you’ve spent so much time raising. There was always Joe on the black chocobo though that always had a chocobo with stats a little better than the one you are on. This always kept the game challenging and didn’t just let you win because you have a new awesome chocobo you trained. Having the arcade you could go to and re-play the snowboarding game and many other games in there as well was a nice addition to the game.

In Final Fantasy 8 they did introduce a card game that I’ll admit, I spent a lot of time playing. The card game wasn’t all that fun but was rather tedious in trying to play the same person over and over until they put the card you wanted to win into play. Once you got several of the best cards the game became rather easy, until some strange rules were added and you had to avoid playing in certain regions where they added rules such as “random” where all cards are chosen at random. This would make it hard to get the opponent to play their good card you want, and even when they did it would be hard to win with you having random crappy cards in your hand.

The card game in FF8 was better than the one in FF9 however. FF9 did have some stuff you could do in chocobo forests like digging for treasure, they also had that in Final Fantasy 13 where you could find treasure while riding a chocobo around… but these features just weren’t that fun, not like the old chocobo races anyway. You’d think with the new games that come out they could make some really great mini games rather easily. So why Don’t they? Okay the Blitzball game in FFX was interesting for a while I admit, and wouldn’t mind some attempts at something like that. Something other than “hunts” or “quests” anyways would be nice, as those were never very exciting either in Final Fantasy 12 and 13.

Can Reading Erotic Romance Be Good For Your Relationship?

Right now, the bestselling book on Amazon is Fifty Shades of Grey. This has created an explosion of other similar selling titles, and suddenly more and more women are reading erotic romance novels. But now many people are wondering if reading these stories is good for your relationship?

Let’s get straight to the facts then – it certainly can’t hurt. Many women say that reading these books can help ignite passion into their lives, and if you have a partner, of course that will usually translate into more passionate nights with them.

The only time it is a problem is if you would rather read your book, than spend time with your partner (although if that’s the case there are probably many more issues in your relationship that you need to deal with first).

Many partners usually agree that it does produce more intimate encounters, and even can lead to more experimentation in the bedroom if there is a certain scene that is particularly arousing.

I have no doubt that more couples have been introducing new games and fantasies into their bedrooms after reading Fifty Shades of Grey. And even if you don’t try out some of the things that the characters get up to, just thinking about it while you are with your partner can help increase arousal in many women.

Of course, not all good erotic romance stories need to be as extreme as that novel. In fact you can get romances that range from the ‘fade to black’ scenes in which everything is left up to the reader’s imagination, right up to certain fetishes. So really there is something in this genre for every taste.

Most commonly though, is usually the typical male / female scene where the heroine falls for the hero’s charms and a passionate night of lovemaking ensues.

Don’t always assume that romantica just includes human characters though, paranormal romances with heavy sex scenes are also becoming a mainstream read for many women. It has been said that some women prefer the idea of a vampire or werewolf making love, rather than a real person.

It’s still just all fantasy though. And probably the reason why the more extreme books do well – because you don’t have to try it in real life, it can stay in your head where it belongs. And if that helps bring couples together, it must be good for the relationship.

It Would Be Great If Sega Brought Back These Ten Games

Sega has been known to have some of the best video games in the past and there are some games that have been long gone but which need to be resurrected. There are so many of them that it can be difficult to choose a small amount that should be brought back. The following is a list of ten Sega games that should be brought back and revisited:

1. Mortal Combat – This is probably one of the most popular games that a single player fights against another computer generated character or two players fight against each other in a battle to the death. This would be a great game to bring back because of the popularity of it. With all the new technologies in video gaming, having a more up to date version of this game would be a gamers dream. The main characters are:

Liu Kang

Shang Tsung

Sonya Blade

Kano

Raiden

Johnny Cage

Sub-Zero

2. Leander – The main character Leander, fights dragons and wizards in order to rescue the princess. This is a basic role playing game that would make an awesome MMORPG because of the fantasy and role playing elements to it.

3. Frogger – Frogger was one of the best games when Sega first came out. You basically helped the frog to cross a busy street and a river to get home. It would be cool to see the frog back in some of the 3D graphics that are coming out. His splat when hit by a car would definitely be more graphic.

4. Double Dragon – The Lee Brothers, Billy and Jimmy, as martial artists fight many protagonists. It is the video gamer’s job to beat all of the bad guys to win the game. There were seven sequels to this game but one more in the newer graphics would not be amiss. Gamers could play this game with the more realistic look that video games are now sporting.

5. The Adventures of Batman and Robin – Who does not love the dynamic duo and their cast of colorful bad guys and girls? While there have been more recent versions of Batman, Robin has been missing. Bringing back Robin is a must and should be included if Sega ever puts out another version of this comic.

6. Bass Masters – Bass Masters was a great fishing game that took a leap forward when it came out in 1996. While there are new fishing games available for most platforms, none of them have the realistic feel to them that the original Bass Masters did. Bringing this game back with the gaming systems like the Wii would make the fishing game even more realistic.

7. Centurion: Defender of Rome – There is a huge interest in the history of the rise and fall of Rome. Centurion takes that interest and puts it directly into an engaging video game. This was one of the first real time battle games and it would be awesome to see how it would play out with better graphics and more compelling storyline.

8. Cre Ball – This is a pinball game that features the music and musicians from the band Mtley Cre. The band is gaining a new and younger audience and has been consistently touring for years. Bringing this game in some form or another would give the younger fans a look into what life was for the band when they were as young as their new fans. Using better graphics and a more realistic looking pinball game would make this game even more popular that it was over a decade ago.

9. Risk – This strategy game is also a popular board game that requires the players to move armies and conquer countries until they have control of the entire world. The popularity of this game has not waned and making a more up to date version for gamers would be a great move for Sega. There could be more realistic armies and more intense fights between the players for control of the world.

10. Shining Force – Shining Force was created as a role playing game that featured a grid that was slowly conquered through battle. There were only certain squares that could be accessed by completing each level. With the popularity of role playing games, bringing back Shining Force would offer a game that takes a twist to the average RPG.

Most companies, including Sega, are spending time creating new games for the new generation of gamers. It would be a boon to Sega to take a look at their past arsenal and bring back some of the games that were released before many gamers were even born. Using the newer technologies to make them better would offer the older generation a chance to play their old favorites in a new format.

Olympic Games For Classical Music Composers

Despite a seeming incompatibility of such concepts as “music” and “sports”, they’ve been going hand in hand for a number of centuries. In sports, music was often used to accentuate the importance of an event. It stimulated both the public and the athletes. Today music in sports is used quite often. However, the question is, how can sports be used in music?

The classical composers are considered to be the founders of “musical” sports. And rightly so; possessing remarkable talent, these people were the first ones to introduce complex passages and techniques into music pieces, hitherto unknown to anyone. First it looked like the modest attempts based on the desire of a composer to insert something new and unusual into the symphony to surprise the public. But with each subsequent opus the majority of composers mastered the possibilities of the instrument or, instruments, for which music was written.

Mainly they were keyboard instruments, and soon there was a lot of “novelty” in symphonies. Eventually, these novelties were replaced by the new ones and so on. The composers continued to create new masterpieces and neither deafness, as in case with Beethoven, nor blindness, as with I.S. Bach, was capable of preventing these people from writing new compositions.

We are not going to go too deep into the past and we shall concentrate our attention only on those composers and performers who influenced modern music the most.

The first person to consider in this discussion is the Italian violinist Niccolo Paganini. Having extraordinary long hands and fingers by birth, Paganini quickly mastered violin and guitar. He developed his talent and has broken all known records of tempo. The apex of creativity of the great Italian violinist was 24 caprices and 5 concerts for violin with an orchestra, where the great maestro demonstrated his genius brilliantly. There is perhaps no one who can possibly surpass him in performance technique.

However, if Paganini was the first among violinists and guitarists of his time, then the classical music knew a number of keyboard instrument players with great technique. However, there were leaders among them as well. The first ones to mention are Frederick Chopin and Franz Liszt. And if the Chopin has left only his own “sports fantasies, then Liszt, trying to show the infinite opportunities of a grand piano, in addition to writing his own compositions, liked to set the opuses of other composers written for a symphonic orchestra to the piano. Can you imagine the speed at which the hands and fingers of a musician have to move in order to simultaneously play all parts of an orchestra on one black and white keyboard?

Besides the instrumentalists, classical composers liked to get singers, who performed their vocal pieces. The biggest ordeal was endured by the tenors. Quite often they had to sing such high notes that would cause a regular person to lose their voice. But even the professional singers sometimes managed to strain their voices after the first two or three lines. For example, singing a part of the Astrologer in the opera “The Golden Cockerel” by Rimsky-Korsakov.

As for the percussion instruments, the musical sport arrived at utilizing them mainly due to black jazz musicians at the end of XIX century. Every year, jazz music became more and more complicated. Because of its complexity of performance, it soon became the elite music.

Parallel to the development and popularity of jazz in America, the Spanish flamenco guitarists were emerging in Europe, competing among each other. They perfected the performance tempo to such a level that many of the compositions sounded like one frantic trill. It was absolutely impossible to remember a single note from it.

Fresh breath in musical sport was rock music and its first bands; The Beatles, Rolling Stones and Cream.

But the first one to really develop a sport approach to rock music was the legendary Jimmy Hendrix. It was he who showed what was possible to do with a guitar. It was aerobatics of musical acrobatics!

And this is only a small part of the long list of the well-known names of those who participated in the Musical Olympic Games.

Experimenting With an Orgasm Game For Couples – Sexual Fun During Foreplay and Oral Sex

The most common problem that couples have sexually is amazingly that they put too much pressure on one another. Instead of sex being a time to celebrate the relationships and have a good time, it turns into a weird form of work where the guy’s goal is to make her orgasm. If she doesn’t orgasm, he often feels like a failure, even if the rest of the relationship is pretty solid. The irony is that all this pressure makes it far less likely that she will orgasm. This is why it can be beneficial for couples to play an orgasm game.

One thing that is important to the sexual experience is the feeling of regression: returning to a fun-loving, carefree state. Orgasm games are a great way to tap into this state. Simply by giving an adult twist to any game can really make it fun. Stripping card games and naked twister are some of the more fun ones, but pretty much anything that is fun can be used. The key is to keep it fun and enjoyable, but also erotic and adult at the same time!

My Favorite Orgasm Game

Most of these games are best enjoyed during foreplay, as during sex it is pretty easy to forget the game and focus on other things! My favorite foreplay game is the ‘shapes-game.’ As you lick her body or give her oral sex, you can lick some shapes onto her body. This opens up and range of new angles and touches and also focuses her attention on your every move.

Letters have a lot of possibilities for some really sexy fun. Try making different shapes on her body and seeing her response. The letter ‘i’ with the dot representing a hard kiss to the clitoris is a shape that is great for most women. Similarly the letter ‘f’ with the horizontal part presenting your tongue moving from side-to-side and the curved part representing your tongue arching around the clitoris will make any woman go crazy. The possibilities are endless. I once won two tickets for a holiday in a raffle. When she asked where we were going, I licked the name of the destination on her body. Luckily for her, the answer was Rio de Janeiro!

Games are great for couples as they take the pressure that can sometimes creep into relationships away. They also allow you to experiment with slightly unusual fantasies, as the context of the ‘game’ is fun and non-threatening. Make it fun enough and she will naturally want to play until the end, providing she comes first, of course…

Barbie is the love and passion of almost and rather every girl. The doll houses, dressing rooms, kitchen, makeup articles and all such things of a doll make a part of dream of a teen girl. Just as is the saying that diamonds are a girls best friends in the same way a doll is a best childhood companion of a cute little girl.

Times have changed but the reign of dolls still seems hard to be taken over by. But undoubtedly even if the dolls are the queen of all the girl toys there is a ushering of many other games in the market especially designed and made for the girls.

Girl Games are no exception to it. Houses and kitchens, dressing rooms and dresses, they still adore every single accessory and thing of a doll but definitely not confined to it. Barbie always knows the mind of a girl and so the Barbie games have crossed the limits of a girl drawing room and kitchen. The girls lurking for some boyish games can see their wishes fulfilled in some of very dynamic gaming. Tribal war is one such game created for the girls.

Football mania is always in the air and the sports frantic girls can go for the virtual gaming in the Barbie games. Here the Barbie games have almost all types of cosmetic and party games a girl would surely not like to look over. How to Choose a Video Game Console

There are six major video game consoles available at retailers right now; Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PSP, Wii, and Nintendo DS. It can be hard to choose which one is right for you. And after you add in the old consoles too, it makes the choice even more overwhelming. Don’t worry too much though. Just ask yourself a few simple questions outlined below and you can easily decide which system is right for you. The points to consider are price, graphics, game selection, and other capabilities.

Price –

Probably the single biggest factor for someone choosing a video game console is the price they have to pay to purchase the system itself. Prices range from $599 for the PlayStation 3 down to $129 for the Nintendo DS. And if you really want to save money you can buy past generation consoles like Playstation, Nintendo 64, and Super Nintendo and spend no more than $20 for a used system. The prices for games should also be factored in when making your choice. PS3 and Xbox 360 games are usually $59.99 new, while Nintendo DS games sell for $29.99 new. Games for old systems are hard to find at regular retailers, but they are usually quite a bit cheaper if you buy them online.

Graphics –

The graphics are always improving with the newer video game consoles, so the newer systems will always have the best graphics. The Xbox 360 and PS3 have the best graphics and can display in High Definition if you have a TV that can display it too. The Wii does not have the same graphical capabilities as the other two, though many casual gamers will not be disappointed. The Nintendo DS and PSP lack the graphical power that the home consoles have because they are portable. And the PSP can display graphics quite a bit better than the DS.

If you are considering older systems, each generation is roughly at the same level graphically no matter which system you choose. PlayStation and Nintendo 64 are about the same, as are Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis. But the Nintendo 64 will have better graphics than Super Nintendo, which in turn is better than the original Nintendo.

Game Selection –

The main reason you buy a system is for the games, so you have to be sure the games you want to play are on the system you choose. Some systems have very wide selections of games because they were so popular, like PlayStation 2, Playstation, and Super Nintendo. With these systems you can almost always find a game in the genres you like. If you really like a particular series of games (Mario, Halo, Final Fantasy, etc) you need to be sure to pick the system that those games come out on. Mario games are only available on Nintendo consoles, including Gamecube, Nintendo 64, Nintendo DS, and Super Nintendo. Halo is only on Microsoft’s systems, Xbox and Xbox 360. Meanwhile, Final Fantasy has changed systems. You can only find the newest Final Fantasy games on PlayStation 2 and you can find older ones on SNES, Game Boy Advance, and Playstation.

Other Capabilities –

Many systems have features unique to them that might be important to you or change game play dramatically. For example, the Wii uses motion-sensing controllers so all of their games use a different style of game play compared to the other systems with a regular joystick. Likewise, the Nintendo DS has one touch screen, another screen above that, and is portable too. If portability is important to you be sure to choose one of the portable systems PSP, Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance, or Game Boy. If online games are and important feature, you should choose the Xbox or Xbox 360. They have the most capable online features.

After considering all these questions you can decide which features are the most critical for you and choose the system that best meets that criteria. If you are on a tight budget but want a wide selection of games to play, you should choose PlayStation or Super Nintendo. The systems and games are very cheap now and thousands of games were made for them. If you want the best graphics and online games, you should probably choose the Xbox 360. It has some of the best graphics and the best online setup.

Once you have weighted all these options you should be well on your way to choosing the best system for you. Now go buy it and start enjoying your gaming purchase.

Felicia Day – A New Artist For a New Generation

Felicia Day, most notable to television audiences as Vi from “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and to Internet lovers as Penny from “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog” and Codex from “The Guild,” is one of the most versatile unsung talents of our generation. She is a powerful actress as well as a beautiful vocalist, writer and web producer. Day writes, produces and stars in a “sitcom webisode” called “The Guild” (currently shooting its second season) about a group of twenty- and thirtysomethings who are addicted to the hugely popular role-playing game “World of Warcraft.” Relevant and funny, this sitcom is delivered in approximately three to six minute episodes on its own website, popular video-sharing website YouTube, and its recent DVD release.

“The Guild” is wildly impressive for such a young writer, creating outrageous comedy with believable character flaws (World of Warcraft is clearly the new Dungeons and Dragons, though possibly more dangerous in terms of its addictive quality). Not only is the content itself impressive, Day’s commitment to creative web content is helping to move the entertainment world in a new, welcome direction–allowing for free entertainment for the public as well as taking creative control out of the hands of the suits and back where it belongs–with the artists.

Day continued this trend with her starring turn opposite established talent Neil Patrick Harris (“How I Met Your Mother,” “Doogie Howser, M.D.”) in Joss Whedon’s sci-fi/fantasy web musical “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog,” released in July of 2008. Created exclusively for the Internet (though a DVD release is planned before the end of the year) this tremendously funny and hauntingly beautiful project was a very successful showcase of Whedon’s known talent for character development and dialogue. With its poignant and witty writing, along with brilliant performances from Day, Harris and Nathan Fillion (“Firefly”), it performed so strongly that the website traffic crashed the server on the first day of its release. This overwhelming response is indicative of the demand for more high-quality web content, and with Season Two of “The Guild” on its way, Felicia Day does not fail to deliver.

How Sports Trading Cards Have Inspired New Fantasy Types of Cards and Games For Children

Collecting baseball or football cards has been a longtime hobby for a lot collectors in the past. Although many kids enjoyed buying these cards every once in a while the real collectors of these sports cards tend to be adults because they have the means to support that hobby. New trends of collecting cards came from these sports cards and have hit the new profitable market of gearing towards kids. This article will touch on some of these card collecting hobbies that are geared to the younger generations and how they have been very profitable.

The first game that emerged were cards that featured different characters from a thing called Pokemon. This cartoon looking characters that had a mystical and anime type of style were being sold in small packs of 5-6 cards. They only sold certain characters and some were harder to find than others. Soon, kids were begging their parents for more packs of cards to see if they could get the more rare characters. They made huge binders to store their cards in and often spent time playing with their friends in which they would trade cards back and forth. This phenomenon took off as a popular craze and has now evolved in more things than just trading cards.

Pokemon has entered the digital and technological age to continue to stay popular with the kids. They have a website full of information about everything Pokemon as well as video games and even cartoon shows that bring the stories and characters from the trading cards to life. Although the trading cards phenomenon has died down a bit, they continue to be popular in the various videos, games and TV shows that they have now. You will probably still see children dressed up as Pokemon creatures this Halloween as you have for the past decade or so as it remains popular.

Another children’s trading card game that emerged from the same principal as collecting sports cards is the game and cards of a thing called YUGIOH. This was a similar idea to Pokemon with different characters featured on the trading cards but the cards were actually used to play a game as well, not just to collect. Certain characters could overtake other characters and this would result in the better card winning the other card. So a new competitive game became the new way to acquire cards, not just by trading them but by actually winning them from others in a game that mimics a type of war. YUGIOH has also extended into the digital age with a TV show, video games and other toys using the theme of the characters on the cards.

The old basic concept of a sports trading card helped to bring on a whole new type of cards geared towards kids today. If you ask any kid about trading cards they most likely will say Pokemon or YUGIOH instead of a sports player like they used to. It a shame that fantasy characters are replacing real life people.

Could Timing Email Campaigns With When Subscribers Are Online for Fantasy Football Be Successful?

Fantasy football has become so big over the years, that it has essentially created a new pastime independent of the beloved sport of football itself. Around this time, offices, basements, and garages throughout the nation are packed with participants discussing who they will scout, trade, and start in efforts to put the best all-star team out on the field when play kicks off. The trend has grown popular on the web in recent times, and this has opened up some unique opportunities for email marketers, especially those who target their campaigns when their subscribers are online.

Engaging the Weekend Warriors

The overall consensus is that internet activity slows down significantly once the weekend arrives. This is due to the fact that many people dedicate these days to spending time with their families, partying or just relaxing to take a break from the grind associated with a long, grueling week. While that may be true for the most part, the internet just doesn’t shut down for the weekend, and there is a good chance that the fantasy football team owners deeply embedded in the online experience at this time will be checking their email. They may even be more likely to respond. Targeting this audience could give you an edge over competitors that limit their marketing to the busy weekdays.

The Double Edged Sword

Deploying an email campaign targeting fantasy football fanatics when they are online can prove to be a very effective marketing strategy. Part of this is because while most of the games take place on the weekends, many of these fans are using the internet to participate in some way on a daily basis. However, it also a double edged sword that could backfire on you as well. Team owners are crazed about fantasy football, so much that they tune out everything else in order to focus on their role as a key decision maker. That means your marketing message could get the cold shoulder. So while there are exciting opportunities, this method may not be right for everyone.

It Pays to Know Your Audience

Whether or not you should to craft your email campaigns around the time fantasy footballers are active online is something that is totally dependent on your audience. If you have a large number of enthusiastic team owners on your list, this strategy could go over very well. On the other hand, if you do not, it just might be a fruitless endeavor that sends your expenses soaring. Before deploying campaigns based on when you think your subscribers are online, take the time to know your audience and find out what is truly the best time to reach them.

The purpose of this article is to stress the importance of timing. While several reports show that newsletters, sales offers and other marketing content tends to make more of an impact when subscribers are online, the right time is something the statistics will never be able to pinpoint. It is the marketer’s responsibility to determine when their audience is most likely to react. So whether it is fantasy football, social networking or shopping for airline tickets, get to know your audience and tackling the timing dilemma will be much easier.

All You Need to Know About Girl Games

When it comes to girls and games, there is such a great variety of skills, dress-ups or cooking games to choose from that you won’t even know where to start from. Of course, most of them are beautifully colored to impress and get attention, and some site dedicated to girls even invested in quality more than anything, to make a difference.

There are more than hundreds of sites to choose from, so how can you tell them apart? Well, apart from the obvious colors, patterns and site layouts, the best girl game sites have really good strategies that include unique and special characters, making that site that much more interesting.

Another differentiation is the categories of games. Having exclusive dress-up games was a great way to attract young girls to spend time on various girl-games sites, but nowadays you need more than plain regular dress-ups. You need to widen up the range of games for girls and include skills and management ones, simulation games that captivate and intriguing cooking games that teach girls how to prepare their favorite meals.

Dress Up and Makeup Games
The most popular games for girls still remain the dress-up and make-up games. The make-over for beautiful girls is always a great way to spend some free time, so girls just love to change outfits and change fashion items and accessories as often as they can.

Under the dress-up category, you can find all sorts of wedding, dolls, princess, fantasy and even boy dress-up games. Pets can also represent some of the most enjoyed dress-up games of all times, attracting by their lovable ways and watery eyes.

Of course, the fashionistas are the best way to go when we talk dress-ups. Lean, tall and super chic girls that are on the run-way, at home or partying with friends, are the best representative of this successful girl gaming category, just because the target related to them and can fantasize about their own prom, their own shopping spree or their own wedding day. Dressing up a bride, a supermodel or a fairy princess is among the favorite activities any girl enjoys.

The make-up games are coming to trends lately, especially if you include a celebrity in the equation. Doing a complete face and hair make-over on your favorite pop-idol is among teens’ favorites girl games and also are among the best rated ones.

Skill and Cooking Games
Because girls want to try out all sorts of fun games, there are many cooking and management games to stimulate the creativity and skills of young girls. From running a sandwich place or serving tables in a bistro, girls like to multitask and use their attention in games that require agility and quickness in reactions. Earning cash and making a bonus is a great way to stimulate and encourage girls to continue playing. Some free gaming sites even use on-site rewards for wining while playing their exclusive games. The rewards are to be used on-site for purchasing clothes and furniture for virtual places.

Plus, those cooking game can really be super helpful. Learning a new recipe each time you play a cooking game is very rewarding, delicious recipes being on display on almost every girl games sites.

Some girls even prefer those difficult skills and management games, that more than fun, they are challenging. Wining is now about the prettiest make-over but it’s about the awards, charts and bonus points. The competitiveness can be a strong motivator for girls trying on these skills tough games.

Appreciate the Game For What It Is

It is quite apparent that authors who achieve success write about that which excites them. Their passion comes through with every word they scribe. Now, I am certainly not an experienced writer but I do know what I love…the sport of football, and namely the National Football League.

After having read literally hundreds of articles from industry “experts”, I felt that their knowledge of the game often usurped any emotion for the sport. What was/is missing is a primal connection to that which brings hundreds of thousands to their feet each week all across the country. As fans, we anticipate every nuance of the sport…the pageantry of every broadcast, the raw physicality of every helmet to helmet hit, the subtlety of an audible called right before the snap of the ball. Sure, we sometimes blindly pledge allegiance to our hometown heroes but that is what is even more telling about this incredible gridiron battle. The late George Carlin once did a bit concerning the differences between baseball and football. Besides the obvious humor, and believe me it was hilarious, one should listen to it to gain a keener insight into how this sport epitomizes the “soldier mentality” in all of us. Perhaps that is why so many adore the NFL as much as I do.

Please understand. I positively enjoy college football, arena football, high school football, sandlot football, etc. The NFL represents the best the sport has to offer and so it takes a rightful place atop the pedestal before all football fans. Video games, i.e. the Madden series, are huge sellers. More money is bet on the Super Bowl each year than on anything else. Fantasy Football opened up a whole new industry and participation grows yearly. This much support speaks volumes about the sport’s popularity and its ever-broadening viewership.

So, I’ve established why I love football so much. Now comes the more tedious part. What practical information can I impart to readers that will enable them to not only understand the game better but encourage them to join me in blissful fandom? Well, for one thing I know that season after season, those prognosticators who lay odds on the outcome of each battle and the season-long war, aren’t as perfect as they would have you believe. So knowledge is in the eye of the beholder. Far be it for me (or anyone) to question a fan’s support and hope for his/her team when “on any given Sunday” anything can happen. Yes, tendencies can help influence our opinions but ultimately the players on the field decide their own fate. All the rhetoric about whose quarterback is most accurate, whose running back is fastest and whose defense the most opportunistic can’t with absolute certainty predict the outcome of each contest.

Look, fellow football aficionados…I have my thoughts on which teams will do well this coming season and which ones are still a season or two away. But these are my beliefs, not yours. Watch the games, ask questions, read information, discuss the sport openly with others and then follow your own mindset. Remember, perception is 100% reality. Enjoy the awesomeness that is the NFL and be comfortable in your own feelings. Then and only then can you truly realize the glory that is football.

Are Bad Teams Breading Grounds For Fantasy Basketball Breakout Players?

Fantasy Sports are a completely different animal than real life sports. The ultimate statistic players are measured on in real life is winning. However, in fantasy sports it is very possible for a player to be on a losing team and also be one of the most valuable fantasy players in the game. In other words, the biggest loser can also be the biggest winner on the fantasy basketball court.

Since we are all about optimizing your lineup and identifying breakout players we wanted to explore the concept of using a team’s environment as metric for identifying potential break out players. By environment we refer to the depth of talent surrounding the player and the team’s offensive philosophy. Questions used to classify a teams environment are: how many shooters are there on the team and does the team have a dominate scorer or spread the ball around? Adding this new concept of environment, which is essentially being in the right place at the right time, will enhance our predictive abilities around break out players.

The traditional way of evaluating talent is to look at a player’s growth on the court from the previous year and possibly their summer league performance as a leading indicator of future breakout potential. Anthony Randolph is a perfect example. He is highly talented, a perfect physical specimen and he dominated summer league play. Every fantasy expert was ready to crown him the next big breakout star in the NBA. To-date this has not happened and the reason is simple. While the Warriors are a terrible team they are made up of a bunch of shooters who dominate the ball. Golden State is a very tough environment for a big man to break out in simply because big men require their guards to pass them the ball. That is something that is simply not happening out in Golden State.

On the other hand lets take a look Chris Douglas-Roberts and the New Jersey Nets. CDR was a good college player who somehow slipped into the second round. Coming into the season there was not much hype around him breaking out. The Nets are another team that has their fair share of shooters and have two players who dominate the ball. (Devin Harris and Brook Lopez). However, when the injury bug hit almost everyone on the team it opened things up for someone new to elevate their game. CDR stepped right in and flourished. While the team is near healthy now and his numbers will drop somewhat he has broken out and established himself as a player in the league.

Likewise, in Sacramento coming into the season Kevin Marin was clearly (and may still be) the #1 option in the offense. As a result, Tyreke Evans struggled to score with Martin dominating the ball. Then Martin went down to injury and Tyreke is now on pace to win rookie of the year honors. This is just another example of being in the right place at the right time. So then, what characteristics should we look for when searching for the right the place? It seems apparent that teams with a single dominant scorer and little depth make up the perfect recipe for an environment in which a skilled player can break through given injury.

Taking a look at the NBA landscape, the following teams stand out:

Philadelphia – expect AI to step right in an average over 20ppg
Cleveland – if something were to happen to The King…
Milwaukee – hello Brandon Jennings!!!
Chicago – still searching for a clear #1 option
Detroit – anyone? anyone?
Indiana – If Granger goes down…..
Miami – if D.Wade goes down….
Washington – if Gilbert take a hit, hello Nick Young!
San Antonio – if TD where to go down…
Minnesota – see Johnny Flynn; this team has no top option
Sacramento – we mentioned above
New Jersey – we mentioned above; the perfect storm of injuries

There you have it. The key is to keep an active eye on the injury reports. If someone goes down that is putting in much fantasy work there will be a void to fill. On deep teams the void will likely be filled amongst the talented players already getting minutes. However, thin teams with a single dominant player are truly breading grounds for break out players!

WoW Stands For Fantasy, Fun And Challenge

WoW is the short form for World of Warcraft, one of the most popular online-games. The particular thing about WoW is that the players meet online to complete tasks, also called “quests”.

WoW takes place in the world of Azeroth, a fictional land. This world has its own history and contains fantasy elements such as dragons and elves and alien worlds typical of science fiction.

To enter the game, the player selects a realm (the server he wants to use), and chooses between the opposing factions of Horde or Alliance. The player selects also the race of the new character, such as Dwarfs or humans for the Alliance or Orcs or Trolls for the Horde. Then he must select the class for the character, with choices such as warriors, mages and priests available.

World of Warcraft is an easy game to understand and play in. It comes on discs that you install on your computer. You create a game account and then the action can start! Fun and communication come first. Characters will gain various talents, as they become more developed. Professions and skills can be learned, such as mining, blacksmithing, cooking and fishing. The players may also form and join guilds, with access to the guild´s chat channel.

Exploration is the main theme in WoW. The main game contains 60 levels which offer much uncharted terrain to conquer. In the Internet you will find guides which show you how to level up your character. Choose a guide that is easy to read and has step-by-step instructions.

If players are interested in completing tasks in a group – without others interfering -, they can enter a “dungeon”. Up to 5 characters are allowed in a typical dungeon. The players face challenges and can defeat their own enemies.

World of Warcraft has won several awards, including Editor’s Choice awards and is being described as the best game in the role-playing genre.

With the accomplishing of tasks and objects and the opportunity of having successful experiences, WoW offers his members a sense of achievement which could be one of the reasons, why this game is so successful worldwide, with over 12 million players!
